Firm Profile
King Design Group, Inc. has been providing
high-quality architectural and interior design services since 1986.
Utilizing current technology for design, drafting, and production
of construction documents, we provide solutions tailored to fit our
clients criteria. The firm has built a vast catalog of design
experience ranging from institutional work for the University of Tennessee system,
to corporate architecture for the Jack-In-The-Box fast food chain,
to renovating a 22,000 foot warehouse in Art Deco décor for
the housing of Chattanoogas African-American museum.
We are a service-oriented firm. To insure good customer service, each
client has a project manager as the central contact point for his
or her project. Every project represents teamwork, between the design,
production, and construction branches of the firm, and between the
architect and their client.

Philosophy
Quality design is important. An environment should be both pleasing
and functional. However, with each project a unique set of cultural,
environmental, technical and aesthetic contexts must be considered.
Therefore, our firm believes each project to be a problem-seeking
and problem-solving process.
How do we approach this challenge? We ask questions and gather information.
We analyze your goals, the facts, your needs, and the concepts. Every
project is a learning experience. But before construction begins,
our plans for the project are built solidly in place.
The completed project is an achievement of teamwork. The architect
and the client are a team. Our first responsibility is to the client
and our goal is to create a design appropriate to their usage and
style.
The architect and the environment are also a team. We promote Green
Architecture, which means that we recycle and take care of the environment
as we construct.
And finally, our staff is a team. The design, production, and construction
administration departments all work together to meet the needs of
the client. As we accomplish our goals, each project becomes an enjoyable
and rewarding experience. |
